VILLAGE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS The Village Improvement Association (VIA), a non-profit charitable organization located in Rehoboth Beach recently awarded two (2) Mildred Gray Scholarships to undergraduate nursing students at Beebe School of Nursing. The Mildred Gray Scholarship was initiated in 1966 when Mrs. Gray, a past president of VIA, donated personal money to help students continue their nursing education. April 24, 2013 What a great spring day -- Happy Federation Day to all GFWC members near and far! GFWC turned 123 today, and the VIA continues its "Living the Volunteer Spirit" in community service and awareness. VIA members Jan Conant and Sandy Roberts planted the Pinwheels for Prevention Garden at the Rehoboth Beach Library today.
